Top Tips For Maintaining Your Conservatory

Many people ask us, “what is the best thing to use to clean our conservatory”.  The best stuff to use on your white plastic is upvc solvent cleaner, which can be purchased online or locally from Seal Service on Venture Court in Hinckley. This should NEVER be used to clean foiled plastics like rosewood or oak upvc as it damages the foil, the best stuff we have found to work on these plastics believe it or not IS WD40. For cleaning your roof you can also use solvent cleaner or it can be cleaned with warm water and a sponge. Never use anything abrasive on polycarbonate as it scratches very easily and NEVER pressure wash a conservatory roof, you will be stocking up on buckets the next day to catch all the leaks you have caused by blasting all the seals on your roof!
